About Me

I’m Evan Hein, a licensed Texas Public Adjuster located in Central Texas. For over a decade, I’ve lived and breathed property insurance claims. I started my career at USAA as a Claims Adjuster, where I handled hundreds of claims, including major catastrophe events. I know exactly how insurance companies think, how they evaluate damage, and how they often undervalue what homeowners are owed. After leaving USAA, I spent several years in senior roles building systems and technology that are used to evaluate & manage claims. That experience gave me an even deeper understanding of insurance policy language, claims systems, and the frustrations homeowners face when dealing with their insurance company.I switched sides for one simple reason:
I got tired of watching insurance companies systematically underpay policyholders, and I wanted to use everything I learned on the inside to fight for the homeowner instead.
As a licensed public adjuster, I now work exclusively for Texas homeowners and small business owners. I handle the entire claims process from start to finish: reviewing your policy, documenting every bit of damage, negotiating with the insurance company, and making sure you receive every dollar you’re entitled to under your policy.
My promise to you is straightforward:
No upfront fees
I only get paid if I substantially improve your settlement (maximum 10%)
You get honest, experienced representation from someone who truly understands both sides of the table
If you’ve had recent damage to your home and you suspect your insurance company isn’t offering what you deserve, I’d be happy to review your claim at no cost.Let’s get you what you’re owed.Evan Hein

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Public Adjuster?

A licensed professional who works exclusively for you, the policyholder — not the insurance company. I handle the entire claim process and fight to get you the maximum payout you’re entitled to under your policy.

How much do you charge?

I only get paid if I substantially increase your settlement. My fee is a maximum of 10% of the additional money I recover for you. There are never any upfront fees.

Do I have to pay anything upfront?

No. My services are completely contingency-based. You only pay me if and when I successfully get you more money than the insurance company originally offered.

Will using a public adjuster affect my insurance premiums?

No. Insurance companies are not allowed to raise your premiums simply because you hired a licensed public adjuster.

Can I still use my own contractor?

Yes — absolutely. I work alongside whatever contractor you choose. My job is to make sure the insurance company pays the correct amount so your repairs can be done properly.

How long does the claims process usually take?

Most claims take 30–90 days from start to final settlement, depending on the size and complexity of the claim and how cooperative the insurance company is.
